India Entrepreneurship Summit 2013
ASSOCHAM India's Apex Chamber for Commerce and Industry along with the Private Equity venture Capital Association of India organized the India Entrepreneurship Summit 2013 with the Theme "Entrepreneurship: Creating Opportunity through Innovation"
Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Government of India along with the Asian Society for Entrepreneurship Education and Development, National Institute of Entrepreneurship, Noida and the National Institute for Entrepreneurship & Small Business Development, Government of India were the official supporters of the event.
Global development is entering a phase where Entrepreneurship will increasingly play a more important role. In the emerging countries like India impressive growth has been driven by a veritable Entrepreneurial revolution. Today many more Indian Entrepreneurs are emerging in business world. The need in Indian economy to ensure growth through sustainable access to Resources, Knowledge, Markets and a low carbon Industrialization puts a premium on Innovative Entrepreneurship.
The country faces a 200 million employment gap which we believe can be bridged through self employment and Entrepreneurship driven employment.
The INDIA ENTREPRENEURSHIP SUMMIT aimed to create a platform where the Entrepreneurs, Bankers, Legal and Tax Advisors, Academia and the Government come together to understand the challenges and explore innovative ideas for making the Enterprises more robust.
