At 4h pm yesterday all Ottawa emergency crews received reports of a bus accident at the Westboro bus station in Canada's capital city. They converged to the Transitway lanes of the bus station located near the intersection of Scott Street and Island Park Dr in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Am OC Transpo double-decker bus traveling westbound on the Transitway, a road reserved for public transit vehicles crashed into a roof in place to shelter commuters. The protuberant roof structure embedded in the second level of the large commuting vehicle causing sever injuries to multiple of its occupants. Three people are dead and a number of other riders are in various hospitals in the area with a range of injuries going all the way up to critical. One of the deceased is a person who was standing on the platform of the bus stop while two others were riding inside the moving bus. Collision re-constructionists have gathered to the scene that will likely be the subject of a lengthy investigation. Police officers wearing white anti-contamination suits combed the debris inside the immobilized double level bus. Ottawa Police have blocked all access to the station including a portion of Scott Street and the otherwise busy Westboro transit stop remains shut for the time being. The driver of the bus has been taken in for questioning. A stretch of the road behind the final position of the bus shows numerous evidence markers that suggest the path prior to impact.

At 11h00 last night police officers from the SPVM responded in the area of Drake St and Jolicoeur St in Cote St-Paul, a district of Montreal, Quebec, Canada for a possible robbery. Initially, SIM crews from Firehall 33 received a call for a crime related incident at an unknown address. One patrol car stopped in front of Jolicoeur metro station and officers started making their way in it. They turned around and ended up reaching the scene of an arrest in progress. Other officers had caught one suspect, handcuffing him and putting him into a patrol car. Cops then made their way down Leprohon St and looked into parked cars with flashlights all the way down from Drake to Angers. A witness says that two suspects ran down the street, it is unclear if another person was arrested and wether SIM's 27 medical call was related.

À 23h hier soir les agents du SPVM sont intervenus dans le secteur du métro Jolicoeur dans Côte St-Paul à Montréal possiblement pour un vol. Initialement, les pompiers du SIM de la caserne 33 auraient reçu un appel pour un incident criminel. Une auto patrouille s'est immobilisée devant la station de métro Jolicoeur mais les agents ont rapidement fait demi tour. Ils se sont plutôt dirigés vers une arrestation en cours au coin Drake et de Biencourt. À cet endroit un homme a été menoté et interrogé à l'intérieur d'une auto patrouille. Les policiers du SPVM ont ensuite fouillé le long de la rue Leprohon avec des lampes de poche. Un témoin raconte qu'il a apperçu deux suspect s'enfuir du secteur, le lien entre l'incident et l'appel initial au SIM n'a pas été confirmé.
