At 11h00 last night police officers from the SPVM responded in the area of Drake St and Jolicoeur St in Cote St-Paul, a district of Montreal, Quebec, Canada for a possible robbery. Initially, SIM crews from Firehall 33 received a call for a crime related incident at an unknown address. One patrol car stopped in front of Jolicoeur metro station and officers started making their way in it. They turned around and ended up reaching the scene of an arrest in progress. Other officers had caught one suspect, handcuffing him and putting him into a patrol car. Cops then made their way down Leprohon St and looked into parked cars with flashlights all the way down from Drake to Angers. A witness says that two suspects ran down the street, it is unclear if another person was arrested and wether SIM's 27 medical call was related.
À 23h hier soir les agents du SPVM sont intervenus dans le secteur du métro Jolicoeur dans Côte St-Paul à Montréal possiblement pour un vol. Initialement, les pompiers du SIM de la caserne 33 auraient reçu un appel pour un incident criminel. Une auto patrouille s'est immobilisée devant la station de métro Jolicoeur mais les agents ont rapidement fait demi tour. Ils se sont plutôt dirigés vers une arrestation en cours au coin Drake et de Biencourt. À cet endroit un homme a été menoté et interrogé à l'intérieur d'une auto patrouille. Les policiers du SPVM ont ensuite fouillé le long de la rue Leprohon avec des lampes de poche. Un témoin raconte qu'il a apperçu deux suspect s'enfuir du secteur, le lien entre l'incident et l'appel initial au SIM n'a pas été confirmé.
